Expressions of interest for Winter Cricket are now open.
With the help of experienced club personnel and your valuable input, the Cricket Blast group will certainly enjoy their Friday evening seasons.
Woolworths Cricket Blast captures the colour and excitement of the Men's and Women's Big Bash League in a fun and fast format. Blast is for kids learning the basic skills of cricket with participants building their skills through fun, game-based activities. The activities are designed for small groups to ensure every child gets a go, allowing them to test and learn new skills. After they have mastered the basics, they will be ready for modified games of cricket.

Season 2024 - 25
Cricket Blast registration runs from July 2024 till March 2025

Term 3 runs 2nd August 2024 till September 13th September from 5pm till 6pm
Term 4 runs from 11th October till 29th November from 5:30pm - 7pm
Term 1 runs from 7th February 2025 till March 28th 2025 - from 5:30pm - 7pm
Registration includes a shirt, other merchandise, Cricket Australia fees and insurances.
The fee is for the whole program no additional fee will be charged, If during the program your child moves up to level 1 then initial registration will be included

Cost
Yearly fee $200 registration. (This includes Junior Blaster Kit as well as costs of equipment/lights/ trophies & end of season break-up and GST.)
Raining
No sessions if raining or if grounds too wet.
Water
Water bottles are encouraged. Drinks can be taken at any time.
Clothing
Shirt & Cap supplied in your kit. Must wear footwear. (No thongs or bare feet.)
Equipment
All gear is supplied by the Club; (Please leave Child’s Bat etc at home.)
Enjoyment
Our aim is to ensure all players have Fun, Fun, Fun, and learn the basics of cricket along the way.
Having fun is essential and skills will improve in time.
Our Blast Coordinator is Kyle Wright and we will be looking for parents to assist with some of the activities. No experience is necessary. Please let us know if you are willing to assist. Our club is run solely on a volunteer basis and your assistance will be greatly appreciated. Assisting your child under the eye of a coach can be rewarding for everyone.
From Term 4 our licensed canteen will also be opened and provides a selection of hot or cold drinks, as well as a variety of snack food and a sausage sizzle is held every Friday night as well. An under covered area with tables and chairs provides a perfect viewing area for parents, grandparents and friends.
